道に居ると邪魔になる話

"in the way" 言いますす。基本の意味は「道を塞いで、邪魔している状態」です。

例えば、

"Please take one step back as you're inn the way."

「すみませんが、邪魔になってますから一歩下がってください。」

転じて、「邪魔する、妨害する、妨げや障害になる」の意味で用います。

例えば、

「私は私はあなたの夢の邪魔はしません。」

 " I won't stand in the way of your dream."

となります。"stand in the way"はよく言います。

また、

「個人的な思い込みは適正な判断力を妨げるが、知覚と直感は

必ずしも妨げない。」

"Personal prejudice is what stands in the way of proper

Judgement, but, your perception and intuition don't always do in the

Way."　　　

少し固い表現です。
